On this adorable friday, we proudly present to you our new DotA2 squad, which consists of chimerical and grandiose German/Swedish mix of DotA1/HoN players!

This boys achieved a lot in past, and they are ready to cross swords with best DotA2 teams, under GamersLeague tag.

 

 

Roster

 

Sweden Kim 'Drayich' Larsson - A name written all over the DotA history. Player that reached legendary status by playing in teams such as mouz, SK, OK and TsoG. A lot of time has passed, since he brawled against the best of the best on DotA1 competetive scene. He is very known by his blogs, and one of most respected players on DotA scene. Arguably, the most proficient and predominant player that ever played DotA. The true DotA Guru, player pedagogue and torchbearer. Now he is back, ready to dominate the DotA scene with his genious mind, like in the old days. Get ready, DotA virtuoso Papa Drayich is back!

Dota League Season VIII - 2nd,

Gvision Cup - 1st,

Captain of the Swedish National team for two seasons.

Role: Captain/Semi-Carry

 

Sweden Jonas 'Hyddae' Hinders - Player of outstanding charism and talent. Played with Drayich in TsoG. He is known as one of the greatest Nordic HoN supporters. Last year he made extravagant performance with his team on DreamHack and reached the firstplace. He really is looking forward on transcending his HoN skills onto DotA2, and winning many tournaments under GamersLeague tag.

Sweden Tim 'XoYNoZnU' Lundell Johansson - Real DotA and HoN old-school player. He can be called as HoN master, as a player of absurd map knowledge and tremendous tactician. He won Europe DotA Championship together with Drayich. After that he had awesome Summer with OK.DotA, finishing 5th at ESWC 2010. Later on he switched to the HoN to form TsoG with Drayich. Their long-term friendship will be one big plus for GL.Dota2 team!

Germany Christian 'Slap0r' Bird-Pticek - One of the finest players that Germany produced. Back in dmZ he was one of the best Gank/Support players in Germany. After long inactivity he is finaly ready to show off his skills in Dota2 as well, under GamersLeague wings!

Germany Dominik 'Black' Reitmeier - Prodigious German player. One of the most respected German players in Europe. Known for his wondrous and unparalleled item builds which brought miraculous results for his teams. Known as the hardcore carry of the team, with his notable remarkable farming skills. A player that is ready to confirm the definition of perfect European carry player in Dota2.

Drayich's statement

 

When i recieved my first dota2 key i really started playing alot of DotA again. Ive missed the special DotA tempo and the feeling of having

tidehunters and broodmothers in the game. When Urosh approached me

about starting up a team i didnt really think twice. I asked my wife,

and when she confirmed i decided to start looking for players.

 

We didnt have very much time, but i look forward to growing together

with these guys and creating a team which can compete with the topscene

of DotA2. Our first event will be in Kiev, Ukraine, and already there

we can see the caliber of this team. However i belive our

strenght will show for real first next year.

 

As for the organsiation Gamersleague it seems like really nice guys, and

their offer hasnt been anything to complain about. I look forward to cooperating with them.

Statement from GamersLeague Team Manager Urosh 'urKE' Krvavac

 

After former 4GL team left for fnatic, GamersLeague management got enough time to realize that Dota2 is going to be really huge e-sports title, and that we should take new team under our wings for upcoming season. With honor, I accepted Team Manager position and started really hard job with organizing new team.

 

We needed player who knows how to lead and make big teams, and Drayich was best choice to start with! Negotiations went without any problem and today, I'm glad we are adding these five awesome guys into the GamersLeague! With them I can't think about anything but success, and I'm sure we are ready for big things.
